Items Now Removed from Animal Kingdom’s DinoLand

With parts of DinoLand USA closing soon, guests are surprised that Disney is already removing DinoLand elements. Check out the most recent update.

DinoLand is about to be extinct at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. An entire new land is on the way. It is set to be themed around Tropical Americas! We can’t wait to see Welcome to Pueblo Esperanza!

According to Disney, a new Indy experience is set to arrive in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It promises to be different from any other Indiana Jones experience around the world. You can also expect a new carousel and an Encanto attraction! Read all everything we have confirmed HERE.

To make room for this new land, DinoLand USA will have a phased closure. On January 13, 2025, TriceraTop Spin will be the first ride to close with its final day of operation being January 12. Fossil Fun and Games and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures will close that day as well.

DinoLand consumes a large chunk of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We were hopeful that parts of this land would remain open even with this new reimagining.

Yesterday, as guests visited DinoLand USA they noticed a large empty space where the DVC information kiosk was once located. Previously, this was located near the caricature booth.

Many guests hope to make a final visit to DinoLand USA before the expected closures. Although the DVC kiosk may not be a big tourist destination, we hope no other DinoLand-themed elements will be removed.

Although, part of DinoLand USA will close on January 13, 2025. It appears that we may have a bit longer to enjoy the DINOSAUR attraction.

Disney has not yet announced when the Boneyard, Restaurantosaurus, Dino-Bite Snacks, and Trilo-Bites will close. Be sure to make plans if you hope to enjoy the remaining parts of DinoLand USA in 2025.
