Just when we thought Animal Kingdom’s DinoLand was becoming extinct, Disney brought new entertainment to this unique land. What do you think of this new addition?
DinoLand Closure
This past weekend, our very own Kenny the Pirate took the final spin aboard TriceraTop Spin. This attraction along with Fossil Fun and Games and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures all closed on January 12, 2025.
Construction walls are now in place, and guests have noted that the dismantling of TriceraTop Spin is well underway. Due to the construction walls, a few DinoLand characters have changed their meeting locations.
Thankfully, only a portion of DinoLand is currently closed. Disney has hinted that guests will have plenty of time in 2025 to “go catch that dino” aboard the Dinosaur attraction.
New Entertainment
When Walt Disney World first reopened after the COVID closure in 2020, they introduced a few new entertainment offerings. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom guests could see characters and even musicians aboard flotillas along the Discovery River.
Since character interactions have returned, the last remaining flotilla was the Discovery Island Drummers. Now, this band is heading to land…DinoLand, that is. This now retires the final flotilla at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The band, known as Eco-Rhythmics, can now be found in front of the large green dinosaur (Cementasaurus) that guests once passed through to enter Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama.
Eco-Rhythmics
This fun, trio band gives us serious JAMMitor vibes from EPCOT. Playing many of our favorite Disney beats with few plugins reminding us to reduce, reuse, and recycle.
The new band Eco-Rhythmics is now delighting guests at DinoLand.
The fun and colorful setup is a great addition to this newly closed land. At this time the Eco Rhythics schedule is not showing on My Disney Experience. You can find the full schedule on Character Locator.
What do you think of the Eco-Rhythmics? Will you be watching this new show when you visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom? Share your thoughts with us, and share this news with your Disney pals.
