2025 is here, and you know what that means! Epic Universe is opening this summer!

The grand opening date is set. Guests will begin enjoying Universal Orlando Resort’s newest and most immersive park on May 22, 2025.

Many questions still linger for the park’s opening surrounding Universal Express, VIP Tours, and single-day tickets for Guests who do not have active annual passes. But Universal answered one pressing question today!

We now know when Early Park Admission will begin for Epic Universe. Early Park Admission is a benefit for Guests with a reservation at a Universal Orlando hotel and other selected groups. These Guests can begin enjoying the park up to a full hour ahead of other ticket holders.

Surprisingly, Early Entry will NOT be happening on opening day, May 22, 2025. The benefit does not begin until May 23, 2025.

Universal currently has the Early Park Admission date range listed as May 23-December 31, 2025. If your trip falls within that range, get ready to rise and shine for early access to great attractions.

Available Attractions

For the time being, 4 attractions will be available during the Early Park Admission window. Surprisingly, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is not a part of the line-up as has been the trend in the other two parks.

The attractions that will be open come from Super Nintendo World and Celestial Park. They include:

  • Mario Kart™: Bowser’s Challenge
  • Yoshi’s Adventure™
  • Mine-Cart Madness™
  • Stardust Racers

This does follow the pattern that Universal uses of having one land open with one additional ride. They always include at least one child-friendly ride in the list as well.
