Park hours can be adjusted for various reasons. Sometimes the park can even close early for special events. Later this month, Magic Kingdom is set to have an early closure.

Cast Member Celebration

On Thursday, January 30, 2025, Magic Kingdom is closing early to most likely celebrate Disney Cast Members with the Cast Member Service Celebration. The Magic Kingdom will close at 4:30 PM.

This Cast event offers low wait times, specialty foods, rare character meets, and a special firework spectacular! This event celebrates Cast Members who are reaching major milestones with the company (years of service). Cast Members are truly the magic at Disney, and it is wonderful to see them celebrated this way.

What Does This Mean for You?

With the park closing at 4:30 PM, many Guests will choose not to use a day ticket for Magic Kingdom. However, this could be a great day to visit!

With the park closing early, there could be low crowds. Making January 30th the perfect day to visit!

This day could bring similar crowds to Magic Kingdom like when it hosts Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween Party or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Party and early closure days tend to bring lower crowds during normal park hours, making them great days to visit.
