Walt Disney World has an entire subculture of fans who really love Disney Villains. After all, sometimes it’s good to be bad.
Disney is responding to the popularity of its baddies by increasing their presence at Walt Disney World. For example, one HUGE announcement revealed the Magic Kingdom is set to get an entire Villain-themed land in an expansion beyond Big Thunder Mountain! You can see the announcement HERE.
And, recently Disney also announced the villains are getting a bigger presence in another park. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting a villain-themed show!
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After
Very soon, Sunset Showcase stage in Hollywood Studios will be teeming with villains. Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, Maleficent, and others will be taking the stage to set the story straight in Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After!
In this show, the Magic Mirror has summoned the audience to hear them out. Their mission is to prove once and for all why they are the most misunderstood.
In the end, it will be on you to make the final call! The audience members will decide whether they are villain sympathizers!
According to Disney, a dedicated team has spent nearly two years developing the show! Audiences will experience cutting-edge stage design, thrilling effects, and catchy live musical numbers that will celebrate the villains we love to loathe.
And, the newly released concept art gives us a fun first look at what to expect. We can’t wait to see it!
