The animated How to Train Your Dragon films were adapted from the book series by the same title. Now, DreamWorks is releasing a live-action version of the beloved movie.

Live-action remakes of animated favorites tend to be hit or miss with fans, especially when nostalgia is involved. In fact, these remakes draw plenty of concerns and criticism. However, they also tend to go on to do pretty well at the box office despite the feelings of fans who see no reason to try to remake the original films.
