Now Disney’s Premier Pass Expands to More Guests

For years, Disney Guests have wanted a simple system that allows them to skip the traditional standby queue without the complications of arrival windows and being on a phone all day. Disney has made so many changes in the last 5 years that it is hard to keep up with all of it!

Disney debuted a new add-on service called Lightning Lane Premier Pass (Premier Pass or LLPP for short), which allows Guests to enter the Lightning Lane entrance without booking an arrival window.

All you have to do is purchase LLPP in the app, select the attraction you wish to redeem, and tap the entry point at the Lightning Lane entrance. You can read everything you need to know about LLPP in this post.

New Update

Previously, Guests staying at a Deluxe/DVC Resort, Swan and Dolphin, and Shades of Green were eligible to purchase LLPP. A few weeks later, Disney’s Premier Pass was available for all guests staying at any Walt Disney World Resort.

Now the purchase of Disney’s Premier Pass is available to ALL guests. Beginning January 21, 2025, Walt Disney World Resort will expand the Lightning Lane Premier Pass pilot to all guests.

This is huge news for guests staying off-site or even Florida residents. Disney’s Premier Pass can sell out so the availability to even more guests may be a concern for some.

What this means for you

There is still a certain advantage to guests staying at the Walt Disney World Resorts. Resort guests can purchase Disney’s Premier Pass up to 7 days before the first day of their stay.

Disney’s Premier Pass will be available to ALL guests beginning January 21, 2025.

All other guests will be eligible to purchase up to 3 days in advance of their park visit. If you are a Walt Disney World Resort guest and Disney’s Premier Pass is important for your trip, act quickly when your booking window opens.
