Price Now Increased for Disney Cruise Gratuities

If you hope to set sail aboard the Disney Cruise Line, it will now cost you even more. Find out the most recent price increases and see how some guests can avoid the price increase.

Disney Cruise Difference

Disney Cruise Line offers unbeatable entertainment and fun onboard activities. This is one of the main reasons my (Donna) family loves a Disney Cruise vacation.

Along with exceptional entertainment also comes exceptional service. While aboard the Disney Cruise Line, each Guest is treated like a VIP.

Throughout the sailing, every crew member offered exceptional service from those who cared for our cabin to the wait staff, and those offering childcare and entertainment.

Gratuity Increase

Although most of the Disney Cruise Line experience is all-inclusive, gratuities are not included in the price of your sailing. Today, Disney Cruise Line announced a price increase for gratuities starting tomorrow, January 23, 2025.

The recommended gratuity increased by $1.50 to a total now of $16.00 per guest per day. These Gratuities are designated for the Assistant Dining Room Server, Dining Room Server, and Stateroom Host/Hostess.

For Concierge Guests, the recommended gratuity is now increased by $3.75 to a total of $27.25 per guest per day. This added cost covers the above-mentioned positions and the Concierge Lounge Team positions.

Savings

When booking a Disney Cruise Line vacation, guests have the option to pre-pay gratuities. This is a great tip for guests wanting an upfront cost for the overall cruise. The new price increase does not affect guests who have already pre-paid gratuities for an upcoming sailing.

New gratuity price increases go into effect starting January 23, 2025.
