Refurbishment
Refurbishments can severely impact your Disney vacation, especially if you are doing a once-in-a-lifetime trip. Unfortunately, refurbishments need to happen to keep attractions, hotels, and even restaurants running at their best.
While there is still so much to do on a Disney vacation, an attraction closure can still be a HUGE disappointment! It is especially true if the attraction is a popular e-ticket attraction or a beloved classic.
This most recent attraction closure will last several months!
It’s A Small World
Last summer, Disney shared that there were multiple closures planned for the “It’s a Small World” attraction in Disneyland Park. The first closure occurred on September 16th for the holiday overlay to be placed. The attraction reopened for the holiday season on November 15th.
“It’s a Small World” in Disneyland Park is now closed once again for a lengthy refurbishment.
The attraction is now closed once again for a lengthy multi-month refurbishment. At this time, there is no posted reopening date. It is expected to reopen for Guests’ enjoyment in Spring 2025.
What Does This Mean for You?
Unfortunately, if you have an upcoming trip in the next few months, you will not get to enjoy “It’s a Small World.” Also, if you are visiting before March 7th, you won’t be able to enjoy the Disneyland Railroad or the Disneyland Monorail. The Monorail and the Railroad are both currently closed.
The Disneyland Monorail and Railroad are both currently closed as well.
Don’t worry yet, as there is some good news. The Haunted Mansion just reopened with all new scenes! You can read more about the new scenes HERE.
