Now You Can Meet Disney World’s New Tiger Cub

The time has finally arrived for Disney’s new. tiger cub to meet the public! Here are all the adorable details.

Recently, Disney was so happy to share the birth of a rare Sumatran tiger cub. You can see the initial announcement right HERE.

Since then, little baby Bakso has been backstage bonding with his mom, one of Disney’s resident tigers. Dad, Conrad has remained in his habitat.

Fans have been able to watch the baby on Tiger Tuesdays! You can find out how to view recordings HERE. But, now visitors can meet the Bakso in person!

Baby Tiger is Makes his Debut

Today, Wednesday, January 29, 2025, marks a big day for Basko! The baby tiger made his big debut in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park!

This special day is made possible by dozens of cast who have spent the last several months caring for baby Bakso. Their passionate care supports conservation efforts at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and around the world for the future of the critically endangered Sumatran tiger species.

How to See Disney’s Baby Tiger

If you want a chance to see Bakso, the new baby tiger and mom Sohni, you might just get lucky enough to catch a glimpse! Simply head to the Maharajah Jungle Trek in Asia in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Mom and baby might be up and about enjoying the habitat. Or, they might be catching a nap, but don’t worry, Cast Members are usually nearby to point out where you can spot a set of stripes!

While you are exploring the Maharajah Jungle Trek, be sure to check out the other awesome wildlife! You can see gibbons, Elds deer, blackbucks, Komodo dragons, Malayan flying foxes, and water buffalo! Plus over 50 species of birds live in the aviary.
