Changes Just Announced for Extended Evening Hours

Are you looking for more fun at the Walt Disney World Parks? We have great news for you along with some important changes for guests of Extended Evening Hours.

Extended Evening Hours

One perk of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort is Early Theme Park Hours.  All guests utilizing this benefit can take advantage of entering the parks 30 minutes before the parks officially open.

Deluxe Resort Guests can also enjoy Extended Evening Hours. On select nights, guests with a valid hotel reservation at a Disney World deluxe resort can stay in the park for two extra hours to experience select attractions.

Park hours are subject to change due to projected crowd levels and we see some extended park hours, which will affect the Extended Evening Hours for Magic Kingdom on February 19th.

Magic Kingdom Hours

Park hours so often, you can find the most updated park hours through February 15th HERE. The great news is that extended park hours will continue through mid-March. Let’s start by looking at Magic Kingdom’s park hour changes.

On February 16-17, the park hours are extended from 9:00 pm until 10:00 pm. On February 18-19, the park will open at 8:00 am (with Early Entry now at 7:30 am.) The park will now close at 11:00 pm on these dates.

Currently, Magic Kingdom’s Extended Evening Hours are set for February 19th; the new later closing time now causes Extended Evening Hours to begin at 11:00 pm (when the park officially closes) until 1:00 am.

Closing hours are also extended February 20-21 from 9:00 pm until 10:00 pm, and February 22nd, closing is extended until 11:00 pm (previously 9:00 pm).

More Extended Hours

Disney’s Animal Kingdom continues to offer longer park hours, which we love!!! On February 16-18 and February 21-22, the park will now close at 8:00 pm (instead of 6:00 pm). On February 19-20, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will close at 7:00 pm (instead of 6:00 pm). Looking ahead to March, the park will now close at 7:00 pm (instead of 6:00 pm) on March 23-29, 2025.

Extended Evening Hours will now be from 11:00 pm until 1:00 am on February 19th at the Magic Kingdom.

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests can enjoy earlier park hours. On February 16, Early Entry now begins at 8:00 am instead of 8:30 am. Guests can enjoy 2 showings of Fantasmic! on Friday, February 14 through Saturday, February 22, 2025. Showtimes on these dates will be at both 8:00 pm and 9:30 pm.
