It’s Tough to Be a Bug
In 2023, Disney teased a brand new Zootopia attraction coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom at D23. We have been anxiously waiting for more information.
When first announced the new Zootopia attraction would replace the “It’s Tough To Be a Bug” 3D show held inside the iconic Tree of Life. This current show can be terrifying for young children with many sights, sounds, and feels.
Now, Disney illuminates a bit more on this new attraction coming to the new attraction coming to Discovery Island at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Closing Date
Disney fans are a loyal group of fans, and it is never easy to hear that an attraction will be closing. Even when the attraction has seen better days.
Disney just announced that It’s Tough to Be a Bug will permanently close on March 17th making the final day to enjoy this attraction, March 16th.
Although this attraction rarely garners a long line, this may change with an actual closing date now set. If you plan to enjoy this attraction one last time, you will want to make plans to visit very soon.
New Show Coming
The new name for this attraction will be “Zootopia Better Together.” An opening timeline is set for Winter 2025. The current concept for the new “Zootopia” experience has guests visiting the different biomes you only glimpse in the film, traveling along with Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and other characters.
It’s Tough to Be a Bug will officially close on March 17, 2025.
