Enjoying a popular Star Wars Experience is about to get easier! We have all the details for you.
Droid Depot
Droid Depot is a very popular experience in Black Spire Outpost. It is available at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney Parks on both coasts.
The fun thing about Droid Depot is that it allows visitors to assemble a Custom Astromech Droid Unit! Guests can make their own BB-series, C-series or R-series units. They can even customize their personalities.
Dreamers of all ages have fun gathering just the right parts and pieces to create Droids. Afterwards, they can even test them out.
Reservations for Droid Depot
Currently, a reservation is required for Droid Depot in both Disneyland Park in Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World. Of course, sometimes walk-up bookings are available.
However, that is about to change in one park. Soon, Disneyland will no longer offer reservations for Droid Depot.
It is important to note that this change has not yet been announced for Walt Disney World. Unless that changes, you should continue to book reservations for Droid Depot in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
When Do The Changes Take Effect
Droid Depot in Disneyland, on the other hand, will no longer take reservations beginning on March 17, 2024. Walk-ups will be welcome.
Droid Depot in Disneyland will stop taking reservations on March 17, 2025.
This will be a nice change of pace for those who would like to take the day as it comes. Guests will be able to simply walk up and build a droid if the whim strikes.
