More attractions are closed than open at Magic Kingdom right now, and the park has been plagued with these problems before. The sad news is that guests are suffering because of it. Find out which attractions and entertainment are affected because of this.

The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World is indeed “the most magical place on earth”, but even this magical land is not immune to emergencies. We have seen guests behaving badly and even a wild bear damper the magic for guests.

Closures occur all the time at Disney Parks. Sometimes, it’s because of the weather or planned refurbishments. Other times, it could be more serious.

Right now, multiple attractions are closed at Magic Kingdom, and the crazy part is that this has happened before, not that long ago.

This evening, February 10, 2025, multiple attractions are closed for what seems to be a widespread power outage at Magic Kingdom. The My Disney Experience app shows that in Tomorrowland: Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, and Carousel of Progress are closed.

In Fantasyland the Barnstormer, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Enchanted Tales with Belle, it’s a small world, Mad Tea Party, Peter Pan’s Flight, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Under the Sea-Journey of the Little Mermaid and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train are all temporarily closed. That is a total of 10 attractions in just this one land.

Adventureland and Frontierland are also affected with Pirates of the Caribbean, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and Country Bear Musical Jamboree all temporarily closed.

Things happen, of course, but there have been many incidents when sewage leaks and power outages affected guests. With the rising costs of park tickets, this is a big problem when guests are paying a premium for the Disney experience.

We are hopeful that these attractions will reopen quickly for guests.
