Disney Admits Prices Are Too High Then Does This!

Just days ago, Disney shared that they are pricing out the average family. However, they have raised prices…again!

Disney has taken away the “free” perks we loved and continues to raise the price. Things that were once included in your stays like Fast Passes, Magical Express, Luggage Service, and merchandise delivery to your resort to name a few are either gone or come at an additional fee. These many missing perks add up for loyal Disney fans.

We see continued price increases without the return of favorite perks. The introduction of the expensive Premier Pass and the restrictions of the Disability Access Service left a bad taste in the mouths of many Disney fans.

DVC Raises Prices

Disney Vacation Club has just increased the price per point for some of their resorts! We shared this price increase was coming in December. You can read more about that HERE.

The price per point increase took place today, February 11, 2025.

The DVC resorts at Disney World that are impacted are Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, Disney’s Riviera Resort, and The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort – A Disney Vacation Club Resort. Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas in Hawaii, and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel will also increase.

What Does This Mean for You?

The Polynesian Villas, Riviera, The Cabins at The Fort, and Aulani will increase from $225 to $235. The Villas at Disneyland Hotel will increase from $239 to $245.

Other DVC hotels that also have increased are Copper Creek is now $255, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Saratoga Springs Resort, and Old Key West are now $215, and the Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel is now $330 per point.

Discounts are available for first-time buyers and current owners. Offers depend on resort and how many points are being purchased (most are through April 28, 2025).

Most of these promotional discounts are through April 28, 2025. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort are offering up to $16 off for new owners and $24 off for current members through March 3, 2025.
