Preview the Mouthwatering New Food Coming to Epic Universe

Get excited to eat your way around Epic Universe! The food might just be as good as the rides!

It is no secret that Epic Universe, Universal Orlando Resort’s immersive new theme park, opens May 22, 2025. As the grand opening approaches, more and more details have come to light!

We already know that the rides are going to be Epic! HERE is a rundown of descriptions and height requirements for everything coming to Epic Universe!

And now we have a preview of some of the best, most exciting dishes Epic Universe will offer! We just can’t wait to eat it all!

New Harry Potter Food

Everyone knows The Wizarding World of Harry Potter offers at least one iconic theme park treat. Butterbeer already comes in multiple, delectable forms. And, there are so many other delicious dishes at the restaurants and ice cream shop. But, will the new Wizarding World dishes rise up to the same level of popularity?

For the first time ever, you can dine at Café L’air De La Sirène, an Authentic French Wizarding Café! Dine inside or outside as you enjoy French baked goods, sandwiches, plats du jour and desserts. And, don’t forget you can order Butterbeer here, too!

Breakfast will be a real treat. Indulge in delights like Quiche Lorraine, which is a delectable custard made from eggs and cream coupled with crispy bacon and melty cheese in a flaky pastry crust with a side of fresh berries topped with a lavender honey drizzle.

And, why not enjoy lunch and dinner here as well? One staple menu item is Poulet à la Provençal, which is a juicy roasted half chicken that’s finished with a delicious tomato olive vinaigrette and served with a side of roasted potatoes and green beans!

If you want something else quick, stop by Le Goblet Noir, a fast casual dining hot spot in wizarding Paris that is serving up quite a few unique dishes. The Alchemist’s Platter is a flavorful spread of smoked sausage, potato and cheese pierogies, and tangy pickled eggs. Or try the Lentil Stew for a vegan-friendly dish that blends tender lentils with savory vegan bacon and rich root vegetables served with fluffy artisan bread.

Don’t forget to look for treats at the Butterbeer cart. You can grab a Bièraubeurre Crepe for some edible Butterbeer! It is a thin crepe filled with with shortbread cookie butter Bavarian cream and Butterbeer cream folded inside. This delicacy is decadently topped with a Butterbeer drizzle, fresh strawberries, and a shortbread cookie

Super Nintendo World Food

Have you ever wanted to eat the things you see in video games? Well, now it’s an option! You can find eats cooked up by Chef Toad himself! Toadstool Cafe is a fast casual dining spot that serves both lunch and dinner and offers a unique range of dishes!

One staple that is sure to be a hit among Nintendo fans is the Mario Burger, a juicy 7-ounce burger topped with lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, bacon and melty American cheese all on a fluffy brioche bun with Mario’s signature mustache printed on it! It even has his famous red hat. Or try the the Luigi Burger, with grilled chicken, pesto, and Swiss cheese. Or, go for something a little evil with Bowser’s Fireball Challenge: a one-pound meatball topped with gooey cheese and mishroom marinara!

Don’t forget to check out Yoshi’s Snack Island and Donkey Kong Country’s Bubbly Barrel for snacks and drinks, too!

How to Train Your Dragon Food

Over at How to Train Your Dragon- Isle of Berk, indulge in the best Viking cuisine at Mead Hall! The Thawfest Platter is a feast that comes with grilled sausage, salmon with dill sauce, chicken drumsticks glazed with a wild berry barbecue sauce and a side of french fries and housemade pickles.

Or, go to Spit Fyre Grill to get a tastey bowl. You can choose from Stoick’s Steak BowlHiccup’s Salmon BowlMeatlug’s Chicken BowlAstrid’s Shrimp Bowlor Valka’s Vegan Bowl. Hopefully it’s as good as Urban Pantry.

Then, head over to Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel, a quick-service kiosk that serves a variety of Mac and Cheese Cones! These are half-loaves of bread with the inside carved out and filled with mac and cheese/ What could be better?

Dark Universe

Epic Universe has a sinister side. See what’s sizzling when you head to Das Stakehaus! This is another fast casual restaurant in Epic Universe! There you can indulge in food on a stake. You can get Fish on a Stake, Bird on a Stake (grilled chicken), and Bits and Pieces (wild mushroom and brisket meatloaf).

Or, try the “Blood” Orange Chicken Sandwich. It’s a flash-fried marinated chicken breast dressed in savory blood orange sauce and a pickles slaw between two black buns and served with French fries.

And, save room for dessert! Red Velvet Death is cake cut into an eerie coffin shape

Signature Dining at Celestial Park

If you want a signature dining experience, look toward Celestial Park. Atlantic boasts seafood flavors! The Sea Bass sports a subtly sweet carrot mochi and fresh sugar snap peas. Nestled in an aromatic lemongrass broth, this dish is garnished with tropical starfruit slices.

Or, head over to another siganture experience: The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant! Try treats like Double Fried Korean WingsBeef Xi’an Noodles, or  Passion Fruit Mooncake! With all the good food, you might want to ride Stardust racers BEFORE you eat.
