An unfortunate turn of events happened in Disney Springs. A treat many parkgoers were looking forward to vanished from the menu.

Each month,  at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs a limited-time cookie is released. These can be new flavors or returns of fan favorites! And, for February, Gideon’s announced a BONUS cookie.

The White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Nut Cookie was a welcomed addition to the menu, and cookie lovers were delighted to try it.

Unfortunately, the cookie had to be pulled from February’s lineup. On Thursday, it vanished. You can read the original story here.

Gideon’s took to social media and shared that they would no longer be offering the White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Nut cookie this February. The rationale is that price hikes and ingredient shortages have left them without a way to provide the exceptional flavors they want to deliver.

We applaud Gideon’s Bakehouse for standing behind quality and refusing to put out anything subpar. And, we are also happy to report that they have already replaced this limited-edition cookie with something else delightful!

Today Gideon’s Bakehouse announced that they will be replacing the original bonus offering with something different. It’s the Key Lime Chocolate Chip Cookie! And don’t worry, you can also get the firey February special.

It is the cookie version of a chocolate-dipped Key Lime Pie! You can enjoy it for the rest of February!
