When Can You Stream the New Mufasa Movie At Home

The Lion King is one of Disney’s most popular franchises. So, it makes sense that Disney would want to capitalize off of it.

Disney developed a prequel to the film called Mufasa: The Lion King. It is a CGI tilm that provides audiences with the back story surrounding the famous lion who would one day rule the Pride Lands.

Mufasa: The Lion King has had a successful, yet relatively modest theatrical run when compared to Disney’s Billion-dollar films, which include Inside Out 2, Moana 2, and Deadpool & Wolverine. However, it has earned over $600 million, which means it should be well beyond the break-even point based on its $200 million budget.

When to Stream Mufasa

Mufasa: The Lion King will be available for streaming at home this week! It can come roaring into your home through your favorite platforms on February 18, 2024.

It is currently available for pre-order on Prime Video for $29.99. Rentals will likely be $24.99 for a 48-hour rental period.

You should also be able to find it on other streaming platforms such as AppleTV and Fandango at Home and other platforms.

When Does Mufasa Come to Disney+

We do not have a Disney+ release date for Mufasa just yet. Disney has also been tight-lipped about the Disney+ release date for Moana 2, which was released ahead of Mufasa.

There is no Disney+ date for Mufasa just yet.
