Another Attraction is Closing for Refurbishment This Week at Disney World

Attractions need to close for refurbishments from time to time. Fortunately, this next closure won’t last too long. Find out what attraction is closing and for how long.

Any closures for refurbishments during your Disney vacation can be disappointing, especially if it is something your family or travel party wants to do. Refurbishments can impact attractions, hotels, shops, and even restaurants.

Fortunately, Disney does their best to inform Guests of any refurbishments well in advance (when possible).

Refurbishments are very important and need to happen to keep operations running smoothly.

New Closure

A short refurbishment will happen at Adventure Outpost where you can meet Mickey and Minnie. This closure will begin on Tuesday, February 25th, and last through Thursday, February 27th.

Adventure Outpost featuring Mickey and Minnie will be closed from Tuesday, February 25th, through Thursday, February 27th.

Guests can meet Mickey and Minnie in their explorer outfits again on Friday, February 28th.

What Does This Mean For You?

If you were hoping to meet Mickey and Minnie this week at Adventure Outpost, you will need to plan ahead and potentially rearrange your schedule. Thankfully, the closure will only last a couple of days.

Did you know that Adventure Outpost is the only place in Disney World where you can meet Mickey and Minnie together?

At this time, there are no reports if Mickey and Minnie will meet anywhere else in Animal Kingdom during the closure. I am hopeful they will have a temporary location for these few days.
