Universal is about to close another ride. We now know the very last day for you to experience this attraction before it is gone forever. We also have a look at what will replace it!
Fast & Furious-Supercharged
Fast & Furious-Supercharged is an attraction at both Universal Studios Orlando at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. The ride is based on the hit film franchise.
The attraction allows guests to ride along with the all-star cast from the hit movies on an exhilarating high-speed chase that catapults you into the high-stakes underworld of fast cars and international crime cartels. According to Universal’s description, riders are engulfed in a world of cutting-edge, hyper-realistic special effects, including 3D-HD imagery projected onto the world’s most expansive 360-degree screens!
But in reality, we all know the ride is basically a bus and some projection screens. It has not been a huge hit with park guests.
The Last Day to Ride
This is why there are a lot of Universal fans who are not terribly sad that Fast & Furious-Supercharged is closing at Universal Hollywood! It does not have quite the following amassed by other now defunct attractions.
Nevertheless, some Universal fans might want one last chance to ride Fast & Furious-Supercharged. The ride is closing permanently on March 10, 2025!
This does not give fans much time to sneak in one last ride! Unsurprisingly, Universal has also announced that it will no longer be part of The World-Famous Studio Tour.
What’s Replacing Fast & Furious
We are relatively confident that the new Fast & Furious experience that is replacing Fast & Furious-Supercharged will be an improvement. Recently, Universal announced “Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift.” It is the first-ever, high-speed outdoor roller coaster for Universal Hollywood!

Universal is getting a new Fast & Furious attraction in 2026.
Universal dropped another little tidbit. The closure of this attraction will pave the way for an exciting all-new Studio Tour attraction to be announced soon.
Now, this leaves us all to wonder whether the Fast & Furious-Supercharged attraction at Universal Orlando will follow suit. So far it’s still standing.
