It is true that some of Disney’s efforts in adding stories to the Star Wars timeline have been hit or miss as far as fans are concerned. However, that was not the case for Andor.

Andor is a series focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey five years before the events in Rouge One. The series weaves together the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved with it.

And, the series was a hit with many Star Wars fans. In fact, it amassed ratings on sites like Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB that rival the Mandalorian.
