Disney Issues Warning for Popular Hollywood Studios Dining Spot

Many guests plan their touring plans around their favorite Disney dining spots. Now, a favorite dining spot comes with a warning. You may want to adjust your dining plans for your next Disney trip.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is one of the most popular and busiest parks at Walt Disney World. From stepping into animation with Mickey & Minnie aboard their Runaway Railway to journeying into a Galaxy far, far, away, this Park has something for everyone to enjoy.

There are now two dining options located in Toy Story Land: a quick service option at Woody’s Lunchbox and full service dining at  Roundup Rodeo BBQ.

Woody’s Lunchbox opened in June 2018 and has remained quite popular over the years. With the growing popularity, it only has one problem: seating.

Woody’s Lunchbox Seating

We have shared the ongoing seating problems of Woody’s Lunchbox for several years now. Disney first shared plans to expand this seating area in January 2022.

Over the years, work has slowly been done, and at times, the seating location was completely closed. Guests were invited to use alternative seating down in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Currently, the seating area is open partially. However, there is a large portion in the center blocked off with the rolling shrubbery that Disney loves to use when work is underway.

Warning for Woody’s Lunchbox

On Wednesday, February 26, we received a pop-up warning when trying to place a mobile order at Woody’s Lunchbox. Each item that we added to our order received the same warning.

Guests are being warned that seating is currently unavailable at Woody’s Lunchbox.

Our suggestion during this ongoing work is to possibly order during off times. On Wednesday, a few seats were available despite the warning, but not nearly enough to accommodate the popularity of this dining location.
