To respect guests, this Walt Disney World Resort now posts mandatory quiet hours. Do you think this should be expanded to all resorts?

Staying at a Disney Resort offers many great amenities, including transportation, early theme park entry, and proximity to the parks. Disney offers a variety of resort options to best fit each guest’s needs and price points. These include value resorts, moderate resorts, and deluxe resorts.

There are five value resorts at Disney World, and three of those are the All-Star Resorts: All-Star Movies, All-Star Music, and All-Star Sports. Like the term “value” implies, All-Star resorts rely heavily on cost and theme.

Value resorts are the cheapest of the Disney World resorts, so if you are visiting Disney on a tight budget, you will want to start by pricing out the value resorts. The price of value resorts also makes these a great option for traveling school groups.

Many school groups visit Walt Disney World each year. From marching bands to cheerleaders, and even athletes, many large school groups find a home at the All Star Resorts throughout the year.

Now, guests staying at All Star Sports Resort see posted quiet hours throughout the resort. We noticed this signage by the Surfboard Bay Pool.

The notice reads: “Hey there Sports Fans! We hope you are enjoying your stay! Please remember that quiet hours are between 11 pm and 7 am.”

We hope these signs may help encourage all guests at these resorts to be mindful of their fellow guests. The increase in school groups may affect your overall stay at Walt Disney World value resorts.

Higher numbers of guests can affect resort amenities such as pools and activities, the dining hall, and Disney transportation. Be sure to see our suggested dates to avoid Disney value resorts HERE.
