Guests are instructed to follow the WDW bus signs to locate the temporary bus station. The temporary location is about a two to three-minute slow walk beyondthe original bus station.
The temporary bus station has white tents to provide shade and shelter for Guests. There is also a Cast Member present to help Guests cross the parking lot if needed.

The construction that has closed the Settlement Depot is occurring in the bus loop. Currently, the road is closed and no access is available as the road is completely dug up. It is unclear what improvements Disney is making to this location.
What Does This Mean to You?

If you are staying at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground you are going to want to budget extra time. You will need this extra time if you are walking from the golf cart parking or even taking another bus to the temporary Settlement Bus Depot. Buses are taking alternate routes to the temporary Settlement Depot because of the road closure.

Along with this construction, Guests will also hear construction from Disney Lakeshore Lodge being built. You can see the construction update HERE. It also appears another structure is going up near the Settlement Depot. Some have speculated that this will be for DVC sales, but Disney has not stated what this new structure will be.
Could this construction on the Settlement Bus Depot be to accommodate the new DVC hotel too? Or is Disney just doing the necessary updates?
