Guests have many options available for transportation when traveling around Disney World. The type of transportation largely depends on which Disney Resort you are traveling to or from. The Walt Disney World Resort is HUGE and many questions revolve around which is the quickest mode of transportation to arrive at each Park. 

Disney transportation includes the Skylinerbusesferry boats, and of course, the monorail that helps transport Guests all around Walt Disney World.

Old Key West has shared that the boat transportation has temporarily closed! It closed on February 10th and the closure is expected to last through early April.

Old Key West’s boat transportation is closed on February 10th and is expected to remain closed through Early April.

Old Key West’s boat transportation takes Guests to Disney Springs. Bus transportation will be provided for Guests to Disney Springs while the boats are closed.

If you are staying at Old Key West or planning to visit from Disney Springs, you will need to plan accordingly and use bus transportation. It is important to be informed about closures throughout Disney World during your vacation to have the smoothest trip possible. Also, be sure to give yourself extra time to arrive at your destination.

At this time, Disney has not shared why or what work is being completed during this multi-month closure.
