Two of our favorite attractions, “it’s a small world” and Toy Story Mania, will receive some new changes that we love. Check out these new additions and see when they will be added.
“it’s a small world” Changes

“it’s a small world” is a favorite for many. It premiered first at the 1964 World’s Fair and then later found its permanent location at Disneyland.
Currently, this attraction is closed at Disneyland for a lengthy multi-month refurbishment. The Disneyland “it’s a small world” attraction will receive 2 new additions for Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary.
In sunny Mexico in “it’s a small world” at Disneyland, Miguel and his trusted alebrije, Dante, from the Pixar film “Coco,” will join the other children in song. Silhouetted by a stunning marigold bridge, you’ll be able to spot this new addition when the attraction reopens on April 25, 2025.
There is also a new verse coming to this attraction starting July 17, 2025. Written by Richard Sherman before he passed, “The Last Verse” can be enjoyed aboard “it’s a small world” and a short film, “Last Verse”, will be featured at Main Street Cinema.
Toy Story Mania Changes

Toy Story Mania is a fast-paced, spinning trip around Andy’s room, complete with Toy Story friends Hamm, Rex, Trixie, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie, and more.
Soon, even the toys are celebrating! On Toy Story Mania in California Adventure, look for nods to the 70th anniversary as you compete for the highest score on carnival-inspired games.
An official start date has not been confirmed, but we assume that these changes will come on May 16, 2025, when the official start of the 70th celebration begins at Disneyland.
Disneyland 70th Anniversary

Beginning May 16, 2025, and running through summer 2026, the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will honor seven decades of happiness and many moments of joy in the making.
Fun additions are coming to Disneyland’s “it’s a small world” and Toy Story Mania.
With the return of the Paint the Night Parade, which will now include our favorite Frozen sisters, Anna & Elsa, great cavalcades, and decorations, this will be an amazing celebration.
