While it is true that Walt Disney World is the most magical place on earth, reality can still occur within the Disney bubble. Last night, Disney’s Pop Century Resort guests witnessed a police presence and arrest. Here are the full details.
Disney Guests Bad Behavior

Over the last few years, we have seen our fair share of poorly behaved Guests. Whether that be someone sticking their feet in the water on Splash Mountain, brawls breaking out, a man attempting to swim Magic Kingdom’s Rivers of America, or a drunk man shutting down the Skyliner, we feel like we have seen it all.
Disney even went so far as to post a courtesy reminder on the website. This reminder has been in place for years, and still, bad guest behavior continues.
Be the magic you want to see in the world. You must always remember to treat others with respect, kindness, and compassion. Those who can’t live up to this simple wish may be asked to leave Walt Disney World Resort.
Police Presence at Pop Century

Disney’s Pop Century is a great option for many guests with access to the Disney Skyliner while still keeping within a Disney Value Resort budget.
Guests, last night around 10:00 pm, noticed several police cars near the lobby entrance. According to the police report, police were dispatched at 8:24 pm for petit (small, petty) theft at the Everything Pop shopping and dining venue inside Disney’s Pop Century Resort lobby.
While guests were checking in, they witnessed police taking the suspect down to the ground. He was handcuffed and taken off the property. At this time, we have no further details regarding the amount of this shoplifting charge.
Be Prepared for the Unexpected

It is unknown how Disney handled this unexpected incident. With the above-mentioned courtesy reminder, Disney reserves the right to ask guests to leave the park. In some instances, lifetime bans are in place for misbehaving guests.
Police responded to a reported theft at Disney’s Pop Century Resort.
Even though Disney is magical, it is still wise to be aware of your surroundings, keep all valuables stored properly, and help explain the unexpected incidents that may occur to your little ones.
What do you think of this? Do you think this guest should receive a lifetime ban? Have you witnessed a not-so-magical incident while at the Disney Parks? Share your thoughts with us and share this with your Disney pals.
