This warning currently begins at 11:00 am and ends at 6:00 pm today, March 6, 2025. The above-mentioned counties will experience W/NW winds near 20 mph, gusting around 30mph, and relative humidity of 25-35%.

This fire weather watch is simply to avoid the risk of a fire starting due to the current conditions of the winds, dry conditions, and rapidly drying fuels present.

Everyone in these counties should avoid open flames or sparks; this will affect guests at Fort Wilderness with both campfires and grilling. Also, be advised to keep vehicles off dry grass and properly discard cigarettes.

At this time, operational changes have not been issued by Walt Disney World. All nighttime entertainment is still listed, but be advised that this could change throughout the day.
