Any closures for refurbishments during your Disney vacation can be disappointing, especially if it is something your family is longing to do. Refurbishments can impact attractions, hotels, shops, and even restaurants.
Fortunately, Disney does their best to inform Guests of any refurbishments well in advance (when possible).

Whispering Canyon Cafe
Whispering Canyon Cafe is located in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Here, guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
This Old Western eatery is an experience you won’t want to miss, with games and food served with attitude. Be sure to ask for the ketchup!
Food choices include bottomless skillets and chuck wagon favorites that are sure to please the entire crowd. Bring your stretchy pants though because portions are large!
Restaurant Closure
Disney has shared on their website that Whispering Canyon Cafe will close for refurbishment. This closure will begin on May 12th and last through May 21, 2025.

During the Whispering Canyon Cafe closure, Guests are encouraged to choose other dining locations at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Other options include the Territory Lounge, Roaring For, Geyser Point Bar & Grill, and Story Book Dining at Artist Pointe with Snow White.
