The word refurbishment can strike dread in the hearts of Disney World Guests and fans. No one likes to spend months planning a trip only to find your favorite attraction, resort, restaurant, or even recreational activity is subject to refurbishment plans.
Refurbishments can occur at attractions, resorts, restaurants, and even recreational activities.
Unfortunately, these are needed to keep the Disney Parks in their best possible shape to avoid malfunctions and breakdowns. Sometimes they last only a few days or weeks while others may extend for months and months.
Another Walt Disney World Refurbishment

The Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course at Disney World is located near Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park. It has two 18-hole courses for mini-golfers to enjoy!
The Winder Summerland Miniature Gold Course offers two very different courses for mini-golfers of all ages to enjoy!
This two-course golf course is themed after Santa Clause and his elves in the offseason. The courses are very different, with one being a “sand course” named Summer and the other a “snow course” named Winter.

Another refurbishment has been added to the ever-growing list at Disney World. The Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Courses will be undergoing a multi-month refurbishment, however there is good news!
The Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Courses will under go refurbishment from April 28th to June 16th. Only one course will close at a time, leaving guests able to enjoy with walk-up availability.
The refurbishment will take place from April 28th to June 16th. During the refurbishment only one course will close at a time, leaving Guests to enjoy the open course. Tee times will be unavailable during this time, but Guests will be able to visit for walk-up availability.
NOTE: This mini golf is VERY popular and guests may wait an hour or more to begin there course under normal conditions.
