You have done all the work to plan your Disney Vacation; room booked, tickets bought, and meals planned. However, you should do a last-minute check of park hours. Checking park hours can help you determine which park you want to visit on which day.

Park hours are a great way to plan which park you would like to plan for each day. Walt Disney World posts standard park hours in advance, often extending these park hours

Typically park hours remain somewhat constant, especially at EPCOT. Recently, EPCOT had a late opening and will have another late opening next month. You can read more about that HERE.

Early Closure

It is now posted on the Disney hours page, that on May 21, 2025, EPCOT will close at 5:30 PM. It is reported that this is to accommodate a private event.

EPCOT will close at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.

The private event is a buyout for the 2025 SAP Sapphire & ASUG Annual Conference Orlando. It begins at 7:30 PM. The event will even have a private concert by Zac Brown Band!

If you are visiting Disney on May 21st, you are going to want to be sure to plan accordingly. This could be a great day to visit EPCOT with the park closing early, some Guests may not visit. On the positive side, EPCOT will have a potential low crowd level. So, those who want to attend for the rides will find lower waits.

It is important to note that if you visit EPCOT on May 21st, you will not be able to view Luminous the Symphony of Us.
