Do you love Magic Kingdom but often need a break from the crowds? You do not want to miss what will become Magic Kingdom’s best-kept secret.
Magic Kingdom’s Best Places to Rest

The Magic Kingdom is truly magical but quite large. There are so many attractions to enjoy, which include shows, rides, and themed locations. This park has more attractions than any other park at Walt Disney World.
There are so many special moments that guests can enjoy that are absolutely FREE, such as receiving complimentary “pixie dust” at Sir Mickey’s, writing down your wish for the Blue Fairy, and trying their hand at pulling out the Sword in the Stone (it actually can be done.)
With so many things to see and do, at least once while at Magic Kingdom, my (Donna) family needs a break from all of the crowds. To check out a few of our favorite places to escape the crowds at Magic Kingdom, click HERE.
Magic Kingdom’s Best Secret

This summer, Disney Vacation Club will open its first-ever Member Lounge, McKim’s Mile House, in Magic Kingdom. The lounge got its name as a tribute to Disney Legend Sam McKim. He was “a Western-film-star-turned-Disney Imagineer whose visionary artwork helped shape some of Disney’s most iconic places in Frontierland and beyond.”
Today, Disney shared the new mural for this exclusive lounge (featured above). Disney shares this caption with this new reveal: “The wildest lounge in the wilderness is headin’ your way real soon!”
Located in the former Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade location, this location will be the second exclusive space at Magic Kingdom. The other exclusive club is Club 33, located near the entrance of Adventureland.
How to Enjoy McKim’s Mile House

The lounge will feature charging cords (on a first-come, first-served basis), comfortable seating, complimentary soft drinks, a children’s entertainment area, and WiFi.
The new DVC Lounge will be “The Frontier’s best kept secret”.
For all the important details (fine print) on this lounge, be sure to read HERE. Worried about getting access to this lounge? Check out Membership Magic Beyond HERE, which will give Members priority access to select Disney Vacation Club lounges when lounges go on wait lists.
