A big perk to staying at a Disney World Resort hotel is being able to take advantage of Early Entry to the parks. Disney just made a change to Magic Kingdom’s Early Entry that you are going to want to know about.
Early Entry

It is important to note that the posted park times, may not be the actual park times. Guests staying at Disney World Resorts can enter all four theme parks 30 minutes earlier than the official park opening.
First introduced in 2021, Early Theme Park Entry allows guests staying at Walt Disney World Resorts to enter all 4 Theme Parks 30 minutes early. Originally, all other guests were held at the park entrance.

Early Entry at Magic Kingdom

It has been reported that today, Magic Kingdom has made changes to its Early Entry. Previously, Guests who took advantage of Early Entry were held at the bridge until 8:30 am (for a 9 am park opening. That is no longer the case.
Today, Guests were able to get into Tomorrowland early, and even join attraction queues before the official Early Entry opening.
Guests were allowed to enter Tomorrowland at 7:45 am. The rides did open until 8:30 am, which is the start of Early Entry.
What Does This Mean for You?

This new change is a big advantage for Guests staying at Disney World Resorts. Guests are now able to get into Tomorrowland 45 minutes earlier than before, allowing them to explore and begin to queue for some of the best attractions. Most guests will head toward Tron or Space Mountain!
At this time, it is unknown if Disney is testing a new Early Entry procedure or if this new Early Entry opening is here to stay.
It is unclear if this new Early Entry access into Tomorrowland is just a test or if it is here to stay. We will be sure to keep you updated with any changes.
