There have been many projects happening around Disney World, but one extensive project has lasted years. This project is now complete, and Guests are now able to tee it up with these amazing renovations.
Most Magical Place on Turf

Disney is home to the Most Magical Place on Turf! Step away from the theme parks, and go for a round of golf. You will find four golf courses at Disney World. Three of the courses are 18 holes and one is a 9 hole course. The courses are Disney’s Lake Buena Vista, Disney’s Palm, Disney’s Magnolia, and Disney’s Oak Trail.
IMPORTANT Warning: Alligators, snakes, and other wildlife are present at many golf course areas and waterways. It is unsafe and illegal to feed wildlife.
Not only can you play golf at Disney World, but you can also get instruction, play foot golf, and find exclusive Disney golf apparel. Be sure to check out our guide to golfing at Disney World HERE.
Multi-Year Renovation

Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course has undergone a multi-year renovation. This major renovation project began in 2022 when the course was completely closed.
The last four holes of Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course have been completely redesigned.
During this time, they redesigned the last four holes. The holes then received a fitting name for the challenge they would give golfers.
“Grumpy’s Gauntlet”

The four redesigned holes are aesthetically pleasing, but will also test your golf skills. The holes are appropriately named “Grumpy’s Gauntlet.”

The 15th hole is an astounding 597 yards from the back tees! Hole 17 plays at more than 200 yards and is a par 3! These challenging and beautiful holes will be ones that you won’t soon forget.
“Grumpy’s Gauntlet” is both beautiful and challenging stretch of golf holes.

The Disney touches added to the Magnolia Course go past these four new holes. Every hole at Magnolia has a name related to a Disney movie and includes a quote from Arnold Palmer (legendary golfer) or Walt Disney.

Another addition is a new 18-hole putting green named “Greatest Green Ever Played” paying tribute to the Disney film “The Greatest Game Ever Played.” This putting green even features its own scorecard and the hole locations change almost daily. It’s a fun and great way to warm up before your round.
