Disney Pushes Back Another New Project

Disney has pushed back another new project that has previously been announced. See the new timeline of when we might see this new show at Walt Disney World.

Walt Disney World is in a constant state of change. Whether it’s building the next land, a new resort or brand new attraction, there is always something changing. It is one of the things that makes visiting Walt Disney World great!

Visitors always have a reason to return to Walt Disney World. Walt Disney once said, “Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things… and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”

However, with things constantly changing, it also means that the parks are usually in a state of transformation no matter when you visit. Disney just announced a major refurbishment for one of their most popular attractions. You can read more about that HERE.

The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure

Disney announced a new Little Mermaid show will be coming to Walt Disney World. Details regarding that announcement can be found HERE.

The show will be titled “The Little Mermaid-A Musical Adventure” and is a reimagined theatrical production. It was expected to debut in the fall of 2024. The show will feature new set pieces, effects, and a new design. In addition, the theater will be refreshed!

This is exciting for fans of The Little Mermaid and those guests who have missed seeing Voyage of The Little Mermaid at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

New Timeline

It seems that we will have to wait even longer to see this new show. While it was originally expected to debut in fall of 2024, Disney has pushed this project back even further.

The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure theatrical production has been moved from Fall 2024 to Summer 2025.

Disney is expecting work to begin soon to remove the old show marquee.
