This is a large scale replica of the Treehouse home that was in the movie Swiss Family Robinson. There are LOTS of stairs and lots of stopping when there are guests in front of you.
Walk through the Treehouse anytime you wish, there is rarely a line. It allows a beautiful view of Cinderella Castle and is nice at night, especially during the fireworks.
Take a tour of the Swiss Family’s Living Room, Kitchen, Crow’s Nest, Library and Jungle Lookout. The tree is over 6 stories high and provides great vistas of the Magic Kingdom.
*This is the only attraction that flies a non-American flag. It’s a Swiss flag!
*The tree is modeled after the tropical Banyan tree, famous for growing long vertical limbs to support its large branches.
*There are 116 steps and over 300,000 vinyl leaves. Each leaf was handmade at a cost $1 each.
