Tom Sawyer Island Rafts
Climb some hills, explore some caves, play on some fun rope and barrel bridges and shoot some pretend guns on Fort Langhorn. This is a fun area to take the kids to burn off some steam and let them run and play. After taking the pontoon across the river, plan at least 20 to 30 minutes of down time to see it all.
The attraction is based on Mark Twain’s “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.” You might consider watching “Tom and Huck” before visiting. It’s located on an island and requires a raft ride to reach the island. The three river rafts are called Tom Sawyer, Injun Joe and Becky Thatcher.
Disney World does not offer the paint brush challenge!
See anytime before dusk as the attraction closes early. Rafts typically begin running around 10am.
