Disney Offers Free Firework Viewing for Families This Summer
This is a HUGE perk for families. See this special fireworks viewing specifically for families that comes without the BIG fireworks package price tag.
Cool Kid's Summer
Last year, Disney finally listened to us and brought us the Disney magic that we've been missing out on for the past five years. This was part of "Cool KIDS SUMMER," and the great news is that this will return this year.
This will bring extra magic to Early Theme Park Entry, along with special Walt Disney World Resort perks at select locations.
Along with these "magical extras," Disney offers many new promotions this summer to make a Disney trip more affordable. Guests can even enjoy FREE water park admission on their arrival day.
Disney Fireworks
Nobody does nighttime entertainment quite like Walt Disney World. With Happily Ever After at the Magic Kingdom, Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Luminous at EPCOT, there is so much to enjoy as the sun sets.
One thing that might not be so magical is the size of the crowds being stuffed down Main Street U.S.A. and finding the perfect spot to watch around the World Showcase at EPCOT.
For this reason, many guests choose to book an enchanting extra fireworks viewing experience. However, the extra cost can be quite high when multiplied for a family.
Luminiuos Family Viewing
A Guest recently shared that her family had been randomly selected at EPCOT to receive a complimentary Luminous: The Symphony of Us Family Firework Viewing card.
This guest shared that they were just walking through EPCOT, and a Cast Member offered this fun upgrade. It appears to be part of extra magic during Cool Kids' Summer.
Select Guests can enjoy a private viewing of Luminious: The Symphony of Us this summer.
Guests who receive this complimentary upgrade are to return to the designated firework viewing location next to Disney Traders between 8:00 pm and showtime (typically at 9:00 pm but subject to change).
It is important to note the disclaimer, "In the event of inclement weather, this viewing opportunity will not be available."
We are unsure how many of these complimentary cards are gifted throughout the day, but this is a great magical extra!

Free Viewing for fireworks for families !
A cordoned off area for hand picked guests, staffing is the only expense at Epcot for Disney. Nice that young people won't get trampled by adults but as always pushing to the front and blocking kids views will be the order of the day, as always !
But to call this a "FREE" perk is quite disingenuous.
No add on fee for the space, true but the "family" paid an admission north of $100 per guest.
Free in the sense of gouge free or upsell.

Free in the past included several perks too numerous to mention, that of course was figured into pricing already.
The definition of "free" is loosely defined by the slight of hand, carnival sideshow verbiage to deceive unknowing guests that they are getting value out of self sanctimonious caring do gooders at ABC/Disney.
